PERKINS, EMILY JANE
(19 May 1921, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
IN MEMORIAM
Mrs. Emily Jane Perkins was born January 5th, 1840 in Monroe county, Ohio,
and died May 12th, 1921 in Bethesda, Belmont county, Ohio, at the age of
81 years, 7 months and 19 days old.
She leaves to mourn her loss two sons and six daughters; J. H. Perkins,
Albert Perkins, and Mrs. Martha Hoge of Bethesda, Ohio; Mrs. J. L. Spincer
of Belmont, Ohio; Mrs. J. M. McKay of Washington, C. H. Ohio; Mrs. C. M.
Swingle, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Orilla Mealey, Howard Lake, Minn.; and Mrs.
Wm. Pasco of Elk City, Okla.  All of her children were at her bedside
except Mrs. Pasco.
Many other relatives and friends mourn her loss.  Her husband and five
children preceeded her to the far better world than this.
Dearest mother thou has left us
Here they loss we deeply feel
But 'tis God who has bereft us
He can all our sorrows heal.
