All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ PERRY, BLANCHE (4 Nov 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): RITES READ TODAY FOR MISS PERRY Daughter of Early Residents Of This City Passes At Hobart Funeral services for Miss Blanche Perry, 15, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Perry, of Hobart, were held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Church of God with the pastor, Rev. C. S. Moad, and Rev. Lee Wilsey, of Clinton, officiating. Special vocal numbers were rendered by a quartet composed of Mr. and Mrs. Walter P. Marsh, A. G. Steel and Mrs. Vera Jones and Miss Edna Moad. Mr. and Mrs. Perry are prominent pioneers in this section and resided in Elk City for a number of years until they moved to Hobart several months ago. Miss Perry had suffered with a heart disease for several years which gradually had become more pronounced. She died Monday afternoon at Hobart. Miss Perry was born April 15, 1915, near Doxey. She attended the Elk City public school for several years. Immediate members of the family surviving Miss Perry are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Perry, six sisters and five brothers. They are Mrs. D. W. Snell of Cordell, Mrs. Lloyd Culp of Retrop, Mrs. Floyd Tunnell of Oklahoma City, Mrs. John Darendinger of Altus, Miss Eleanor Jane and Miss Helen Joe and Clarence C. Perry, Jr. Paul Perry of Oklahoma City, Clyde Perry of Clinton and Coleman and Guy Perry of Hobart. Interment was made in the Sayre-Doxey cemetery.
