PRESCOTT, J. T.
(26 Jun 1924, Thursday, Beckham County Democrat, Erick, Beckham Co, OK):
Died.  J. T. Prescott died at his home in the Grimes community, Wednesday,
June 18th, at 10 o'clock p.m.  Age 78 years.  He was born in the state of
Kentucky.  In early life he moved to Texas where he became a member of the
Texas Rangers.  When Oklahoma opened for settlement he moved to this
section and has been a resident ever since.
He leaves a wife and a large number of relatives to mourn his death, who
have the sympathy of all.
