PRICE, MARTHA ELIZABETH
(19 Dec 1918, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF MOTHER AND SISTER-IN-LAW.
Hubert H. Price was in Elk City Tuesday and told us that his mother, Mrs.
W. P. Price had died at Coffeyville, Kansas, last Friday morning, where
she had been visiting her son, W. J. Price, formerly of Price Bros., of
Elk City.  Her remains were brought to Delhi and laid by the side of her
husband, who died several years ago.  Mrs. Price was sixty-six years of
age and the mother of nine children:  J. Walter Price, Sayre; Mrs. Pearl
Robinson, Loco, Okla.; A. B. Price, Willow; Willie J. Price, Coffeyville,
Kansas; Mrs. Mary Nash, Stigler, Okla.; Hubert H. Price, Elk City; Elmer
Price at Camp Logan, Texas; Roy Price, Willow; and Miss Eula Price.
Mrs. Price was a devoted mother, a beautiful christian character and will
be sadly missed by her children and friends.  She was born in Marietta,
Mississippi, moved to Texas in 1875, lived in Cook and Montague Counties
while there, and in 1898, moved to Western Oklahoma.
The deeply stricken family have the sympathy of their many friends and
acquaintances.
