QUEENAN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS At ten-thirty Wednesday night, Feb. 4, Mrs. J. G. Queenan, wife of our esteemed postmaster, died after suffering much agony in her past several months. Mr. Queenan, son Maurice, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Robinson, and a brother, C. C. Robinson, all of this place, survive her. Mr. Queenan's two brothers, Tom and John of Oklahoma City, are with him in these sad hours. Funeral services will be held at the home on Broadway today at three o'clock. Rev. Pankey will preach at the services. (13 Feb 1920, Friday, Elk City Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): TULA BEATRICE ROBINSON Tula Beatrice Robinson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Robinson, was born in Boone county, Mo., November 11, 1884. She was married to Jerome G. Queenan at El Reno, Oklahoma, June 5, 1901; to this union there were born two children - Clinton R., who departed this life in 1914, and Maurice G., now 14 years of age. She died at her home in Elk City, 10:30 p.m., Feb. 4, 1920. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, one son, father and mother, one brother and a host of relatives and friends. Miss Robinson united with the First Christian church at Sturgeon, Mo., at the age of 14, and departed this life in the faith and saying all was well.
