(15 Jul 1908, Wednesday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
CARD OF THANKS
We take this way to thank our friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted
us thro the brief sickness and subsequent death of our baby.  Our words
seem empty things, but the kind deeds and sympathy extended to us during
these trying hours, shall live always in our memory.
