RENFRO, ORVIL WILLIAM "BILL"
(The Elk City Daily News, Elk City, Beckham, Ok, 11 June 1991)
O. W. "Bill" Renfro.
O. W. "Bill" Renfro, 84 of Carter died Monday in Community Hospital. 
Services will be Wednesday in Sayre's Rose Chapel at 2 pm with John
Rodgers officiating.  Interment will be in the Carter Cemetery under
direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service.
Mr. Renfro, son of W. G. and Laura Renfro, was born Sept. 26, 1906 at
Carter.  He grew up in Beckham County and married Venoy "Sis" Stowers
August 10, 1928 in Sayre, and they moved to Carter, where he farmed.  He
was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one infant son and one infant
brother.  Survivors include one son: Ronnie Jack Renfro, three sisters,
Lois Lindsey, Oklahoma City; Doris Baker and Oleta Breeze of Elk City; one
brother Lloid Stowers (sic-should be Loid Renfro) of Haskell, Texas; three
grandchildren, Michael Renfro, Rhonda Renfro, Meghan Renfro; one great
grandchild, Travis Renfro.
