S. Ren- nels, who died at this home here last night after a brief illness, likely will be held Wednesday af- ternoon, it was announced this af- ternoon by the Killough-Hullum funeral home. Mr. Rennels had been a resident of Elk City for a number of years, Mrs. Rennels died here a few years ago. Surviving Mr. Rennels besides a son and daughter at home there are two married daughters who live in Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma. Mrs. Rennels had been employed at the Elk City Cotton Oil Mill for the past seven years. He became ill six days ago. Elk City News 4 Apr 1933 U. S. Rennels, who has lived in Elk City for several years, and worked for the Elk Manu- facturing Co., for the past 7 years, died at this home in the East part of the city Tuesday after an illness of about one week. Mr. Rennels is survived by a son and daughter at home, and two married daughters, one in Arkansas and one in Sweet- water, Oklahoma. Funeral services were held today at 2:30 and burial in Fairlawn cemetery with Kil- lough-Hullum, funeral direc- tors in charge. Elk City News 6 Apr 1933
