MATTIE MAY RENNELS Mattie May Green was born May 5th, 1891, in East Tennessee and passed away April 23, 1928, at the age of 36 years, 11 months and 18 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Green of Elk City. She professed faith in Christ at the age of thirteen years. Some few months gone by she came to the Assembly of God to worship and lived a very devoted Christian life until she was called away. She married Mr. Columbus Jones and moved to Oklahoma. To this union one child was born. Mrs. Hila Achley of Hobart, Okla. Later in life she was united in marriage to Mr. U. S. Rennels. To this union three children were born, Elsie, David and Evelyn. Some few days ago she became ill. After all was done that loving hands could do, God, who doeth all things well, called for her. She leaves behind to mourn her departure, her husband, Mr. U. S. Rennels, three daughters, Hila, Elsie and Evelyn, also one son, David. Her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Green, two brothers, Jess and Taylor Green, one sister, Mrs. Lola Mayes, besides other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. P. D. Rutherford at the Penticostal Assembly of God church.
