DEATH OF MRS. RHODES.
Grubitz & Son were called to the home of T. C. Brady twelve miles
northwest of Hammon to embalm the body of his daughter, Mrs. J. L. Rhodes,
who died Friday July 27.  Mrs. Rhodes home was in Little Rock, Arkansas,
but had been visiting her father, when she was taken ill.  Her death was
sudden, the cause being heart trouble.  She was sick but a few hours.  She
was twenty-two years old and leaves a husband and babe ten months old.
Gene Grubitz conveyed the body to Weatherford, where funeral services were
held and the body laid to rest by the side of her mother, who died several
years ago.  Gene said the Christian pastor had charge of the services and
that he delivered one of the finest funeral sermons he ever heard.
