RICHERSON, JIM
(31 Aug 1916, Thursday, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF JIMMIE RICHARDSON (sic)
We were made sad, indeed, Monday when we learned of the death of "Little
Jimmie" Richardson (sic), youngest son of ex-sheriff, J. R. Richardson, of
Doxey.  His death was caused by typhoid fever.  We lived neighbors to the
Richardson family when in Sayre, and we knew Jimmie well.  We thought so
much of him for he was always a little gentleman, and a general favorite
among his many friends.  Our hearts ache for the parents in their
bereavement for the death of this beloved son.  He was seventeen years of
age, had an exceptionally bright mind was always first in his studies,
always had a smile for his friends.  He will be greatly missed.  We only
wish we could express the deep sorrow we feel for the family, and only
wish we had known in time so that we could have attended the last sad
rites which were held on Monday evening.
