(29 Mar 1917, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): DEATH OF MRS. B. F. ROBERSON Mrs. B. F. Roberson died Monday morning at the home of her daughter Mrs. A. W. Mann, at Burroak, Kan., where she has been since the death of her husband six weeks ago, having accompanied his remains to that place for burial. She had remained to visit in the old home, and wrote last week that she had been having some work done in the cemetery, and had a monument erected for Mr. Roberson, also had her name engraved on it to have ready when she passed away. She took sick last Friday with pneumonia. Her son, J. J. "Bud" Roberson and daughter, Mrs. E. S. Epperson, left Monday to attend the funeral. They truly have the sympathy of all in their double sorrow. Death came about four weeks ago to a brother of Mrs. J. J. Roberson, at Burroak. Two weeks before she had been there, and her family had a reunion. Her brother left soon after for the west, and took pneumonia. The mother of Mrs. E. S. Eggleson died a short time ago, and it seems the two families have indeed had their share of sorrow.
