ROBINSON, LILLIAN ELIZABETH "LILLIE"
(The Elk City Daily News, Elk City, Beckham, Ok, Sunday, 6 April 1952)
LILLIE E. ROBINSON PASSES AT HOSPITAL AFTER LONG ILLNESS - Mrs. Lillie
Elizabeth Robinson, Sayre, died at a local hospital after a month-long
illness.  She was 81 years of age. Born in Fannin county, Ga.,  she
married R. A. Robinson at Bosque county, Texas in 1882 (should be 1888). 
They came to Altus in 1902 and have lived at their present address since
1920.  She was a member of the Baptist church.  Survivors include her
husband; a son, Edgar of Sayre and three grandchildren.  Mrs. Dorothy
Glass, Elk City, Mrs. Joe Anna Harris, Elk City, and Lt. Edgar Robinson,
Jr., Aberdeen Proving Grounds. Two great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services are to be Monday, April 7, at the Carter Baptist Church
at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. W. L. French and the Rev. Fountie Ridley
officiating.  Martin-Hullum funeral directors are in charge of
arrangements.
