ROSE, CLARA D.
(17 Mar 1922, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
CLARA D. SMITH ROSE
On account of the very bad road last Tuesday, Mrs. Rose's funeral was held
at Fairlawn cemetery, where Rev. J. A. Tracy held the services with a few
near friends of the family, M. Rose and children, Edward, Nathan, Robert
Franklin, Sally, Salon E.  A son, Forest, died at the age of four.
Clara D. Smith was born on a farm, April 22, 1856, Smith county, Texas,
near Mount Sylvan.  She was married to Robert Forest Rose, Dec. 22, 1874. 
She died near Elk City last Sunday night, March 12, 1922 of pneumonia.

We wish to thank our many friends who proved so faithful during the
illness and death of our dear wife and mother, Mrs. Robert F. Rose.  Never
could there have been neighbors and friends who acted more loyally.
