All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************ RUTLEDGE, MINNIE ELIZABETH (The Elk City Daily News, Elk City, Beckham Co, Ok, 10 May 1964) Services Are Set for Mrs. Rutledge Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Elizabeth Rutledge will be held at 10 a.m. Monday in the First Christian Church. Mrs. Rutledge, a Hammon school teacher, died in a local hospital May 8. Rev. Hugh Collett, First Christian church minister, will conduct services and burial will be at the I. O. O. F. cemetery, Norman, at 3:30 p.m. Local arrangements are under the direction of Martin Funeral Home. Mrs. Rutledge was born in Woodberry, Tenn., and was married to Louden D. Rutledge Aug. 9, 1910, in Houston, Tex. He preceded her in death Mar. 7, 1937. Mrs. Rutledge lived in Norman for 30 years prior to moving to Hammon 11 years ago. She taught in the public schools at Norman. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dewie A. Miller, and two sisters, Mrs. Hollie Bobo and Mrs. Paty Jarman, both of Murfreesboro, Tenn. She was preceded in death, also, by another daughter.
