SAMPLES, WILLIAM HENRY
(13 Mar 1915, Elk City Journal, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Wm. H. Sample (sic) died at the family residence, 7 miles south west of
Elk City last Saturday.  He was born Dec. 27th, 1847, in Franklin county,
Ky.  He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his departure.  Funeral
services were held in the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon by Elder Maddox
after which the remains were laid to rest in Elk City cemetery.  The many
friends of the deceased extend sympathy to his bereaved family.
