SANDS, IDA RUTH
(Jan 1919, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
OBITUARY
Miss Ida Sands, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Sands was born at Elk City,
Okla., November 4th, 1913 and died January 9th, 1919, of pneumonia
following influenza.
Funeral services were held at the Grubitz Undertaking parlors on Sunday
afternoon January 12, and words of comfort were spoken by the writer T. J.
Hickman, after which interment was made in the beautiful Fairlawn
cemetery.
Ida and her twin sister, Ada, were baptised last September by Elder D. F.
Sturgeon, and became members of the Elk City S. D. A. Church.
A father, mother, and five sisters, with a large circle of friends mourn
their loss.
