SHEETS, DAVID MANSFIELD
(14 Jul 1922, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DIED.  David Mansfield Sheets was born in Kentucky, June 2, 1851 and died
at Elk City, Okla., July 10, 1922.  Funeral services were held at the
South Methodist church, Rev. Hamilton officiating.
Grubitz and Son had charge of the burial services at Fairlawn cemetery.
Mr. Sheets was the father of H. B. Sheets of this city.  It is thought
that his death was caused from being overheated when he was working in the
wheat field.
