   MARTIN VAN BUREN SHELTON
   
   Funeral services for Martin Van Buren SHELTON, 84, will be held at 3
   p.m. Monday in the Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs.(Mr.)Shelton died
   Oct. 24 at a local nursing home.
   
   Rev. Darrell BRATTON, pastor of the Prairie View Baptist church, and
   Rev. Garlin WILSON, minister of the Merrits community church, will
   conduct the services and burial will be at the Bellview cemetery under
   the direction of Martin Funeral Home.
   
   Mr. Shelton was born in Adair county, Ky., and had lived in the
   Bellview community until some 6 years ago when he moved to Elk City.
   
   Mr. Shelton never married but is survived by several nieces and
   nephews and one brother, Lucian, of Campbellsville, Ky.
