SMALTS, VELMA MAE
(29 May 1919, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
A little two and a half months old baby girl of J. F. Smalts died Sunday
morning from leakage of the heart.  The little one went into a stupor
Saturday afternoon from which it did not arouse.
(29 May 1919, Thursday, Southwest Press, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
The infant son (sic) of E. F. (sic) Smalts died of leakage of the heart. 
Age two months.  Funeral services conducted at the cemetery at 4:30 Sunday
afternoon by Rev. C. Bowles.  Grubitz and Son, undertakers.
