Ben Smith had been called by death that morning. Mrs. Smith had been a sufferer with heart affection for a long time, but was considerably improved up to a short time ago. She had been in her usual condition up to the night of her demise, but had two spells during Monday night, and had, it was thought gotten by both of them, but when members of the family attempted to arouse her Tuesday morning, they found that life was extinct. Mrs. Smith had lived in this section many years, and her friends are legion, and her passing is a sad blow to the husband and large family of children. The funeral occurred this afternoon at the Baptist church, and her remains were laid away at Red Hill cemetery. - Hammon Advocate.
