Mrs. Spitzer, whose home is at Sour Lake, Texas, came on a visit last summer and remained during the fall and winter in order that a little son might receive treatment here and regain his health before returning home. While only 16 days old, the little one had won a place in the home that can never more be filled. She being the only daughter, the mother and two little sons were so eager to return home where Mr. Spitzer was so anxious to welcome the little daughter. She was taken sick on Saturday with pneumonia and all was done for her that loving hands could do. Mr. Spitzer arrived Wednesday night from Sour Lake, Texas. Their many friends here join us in extending sympathy to the bereaved mother and father and other loved ones. The funeral services were conducted by Bro. Brubaker at the home of Dan Spitzer, Friday morning at eleven o'clock, after which the body was laid to rest by the side of two little brothers who have gone before. --------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.html
