SPRINGER, GERTIE
(15 Nov 1928, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Gertie Harwell Springer was born in the state of Arkansas, February
19,1895, and died Nov. 17, 1928.  Age 33 years, 8 months and 29 days.  She
was married at the age of nineteen years to Mr. B. H. Springer.  At an
early age she became a member of the Baptist Church.  About a year ago she
reconsecrated her life and began a deeper walk with the Lord.  She became
a member of the God Church at that time.
The remains were sent to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Harwell of
Booneville, Ark., for burial.  Gentry-Killough, having charge of the
arrangements here.
The deceased lived in her native state until this autumn when she moved to
Elk City.  She is survived by her husband, Mr. B. H. Springer, one
daughter, Mary Easter, age 14, a son, Geraldine, age 6, and an infant son.
 Also her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. F. Harwell, a sister, Mrs. W. M. Ward,
and a brother, Mr. E. H. Harwell, all of Booneville, are left to mourn her
departure.
