Oct 1989) Funeral services for Pam Stamper were conducted Wednesday, October 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the Martin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Lloyd Unsell officiating. Burial followed in the Red Hill Cemetery. Pam was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, on August 28, 1951, and passed away Sunday October 8 at the age of 38. In 1952 the family moved to Kansas where they lived for a time before moving to Missouri. In 1962, they moved to Cheyenne where she graduated from high school in 1970. Following her graduation she was employed by Harry Chapman. On September 15, 1972, she was married to Bill Stamper in Strong City. Following their marriage they lived in Leedey before moving to Elk City in 1975. In 1980 they moved to Kingfisher where has lived since. Her religious preference was Baptist. One of her favorite hobbies was shirt painting. She loved the out of doors. Her survivors include her husband Bill Stamper of the Elk City home, two daughters: Lori Lynn Stamper of Elk City, Jennifer Diane Stamper of the home, two twin sons; Billy and Willy Stamper, both of the Elk City home, her mother Oma Lee Walker of Hammon, her mother-in-law, Ethel Stamper of Cheyenne, two sisters; Gwen Drinnon of Hammon and Cathy Alsup of Elk City, one brother Gary Walker of Hammon, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Roy in 1980 and her father-in-law Gordon Stamper in 1983.
