Mother Stanka was a Christian from her early girlhood days. She came out with the Church of God some thirty-four years ago, and lived a consecrated life. She was stricken July Fourth, and has borne her sufferings without a murmur or a complaint. Mother Stanka was a God-fearing woman, always thoughtful of others, always doing for them as she would have them do to her. All through her sickness she was found praising God. On Sunday before she passed away she led out in prayer and song. The last word she was heard to utter was "Amen". --------------------------------------------------- Return to Beckham County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/beckham/beckham.html
