STEVENS, MORRIS
(13 Oct 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
The ten year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Stevens of Delhi was buried at Delhi
cemetery Sunday evening at three p.m.  After suffering two weeks or more
from blood poisoning from the lancing of a boil on his face, so we are
informed, the malady then spread to his whole face and head and shortly
death ensued.  The parents and relatives have the greatest sympathy of a
host of friends who share with them in their sorrow.  The funeral services
were conducted by Rev. Walker of the Baptist Church.  The song service was
conducted by Henry Moran, after which his form was taken to the cemetery
and there laid to rest to await the resurrection morn.
