STEWARD, BUTLER
(3 Aug 1910, Wednesday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF BUTLER STEWARD
Some three weeks ago, T. B. Steward who lived just south of  town received
a telegram from Spokane, Washington that his son Butler who had gone there
for his health, was about to die.  Mr. Steward hurried to his bedside and
found him almost unconscious but  he lived two days after his arrival.
Mr. Steward took the remains to Columbia, Missouri, for burial beside his
mother.  Butler was 29 years old and unmarried, he had been in Willburton
for some time previous to his departure for the west and visited his
father here last fall when he made a host of friends who regret to hear of
his sad death.
