A. STORY DIES EARLY TODAY. A military funeral will be held for James A. Story, 33, tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 in the chapel of the Grubitz and Son mortuary under the direction of the Elk City Post No. 181 of the American Legion. Rev. Father A. Geerart will officiate at the service. Mr. Story is survived by his widow Mrs. Story, a son James Kenneth, his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Story, a brother, Ed Story, and a sister, Mrs. Alice Matthews. He died at 5:30 this morning at the home of his parents. Mr. Story had been ill for some time and his condition had been considered critical several times. He is known by people all over this section of the state and commanded a long list of friends in adjoining states. He was a past commander of the American Legion post here and was a lieutenant during the World War. His family is one of the early residents of this city and has been one of the most influential in the making of the community.
