M. Stratton. The deceased was 73 years of age and had been preceded in death by his wife some two years ago. He was one of the pioneers of this section, having lived in this vicinity about 28 years, and was well known by all the old timers. Mr. Stratton sold out here about two years ago and went to California to live with his children, and since leaving has made one visit back to Hammon, about a year ago. Mr. Stratton had been a sufferer for several years with stomach trouble, and this with his advanced age caused the dissolution. His death occurred at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Martin Hayes. He is survived by ten living children, who are as follows: Mmes. Martin Hayes, Ollie Gray, Vena Rennels and two sons, Sam and G. W. who lived near him in Los Angeles; Mmes. P. S. Tullis and E. B. McKee of Wichita Falls, Texas; Mrs. J. E. Sparks of Amarillo, Texas; Mrs. J. B. Morgan, near Elk City, and J. E.
