JOHN WESLEY STRAWN
J. W. Strawn was one of our good farmers who lived down Elk Creek in the
Ural neighborhood.  He was born in Georgia, Oct. 3, 1858.  His death last
Monday afternoon was very sudden, due to heart failure.  He had been doing
his regular daily chores in the forenoon.  His wife had suffered a serious
fracture of the arm the Friday before.
Rev. H. D. DeVore conducted the funeral services at the Ural church where
interment was made, Wednesday afternoon, November 29.
