STROBEL, ANNA MARIA
(6 Mar 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
OLD SETTLER'S RITES TOMORROW
Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Anna Maria Strobel at 10 o'clock
Friday morning in St. Francis church in Canute with Rev. Father M. O.
Dennis, officiating.
Mrs. Strobel, wife of George Strobel, died in her home near Canute Tuesday
after a prolonged illness.  She was born in Germany on April 16, 1862. 
She had lived in the Canute community for many years and was well and
widely known in that vicinity.
Surviving Mrs. Strobel are her husband, Mr. Strobel and seven children,
five sons and two daughters.  Interment will be made in the St. Francis
Cemetery (Washita county).  Grubitz and Son, funeral directors, are in
charge of arrangements.
