TALLENT, L. J.
(15 Sep 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
L. J. Tallent was born in East Tennessee June 22, 1915, and died September
12, 1927, aged 12 years, 2 months and 22 days.  He is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. A. Tallent of Delhi.  Interment was made Tuesday, September 13, at
the Delhi Cemetery with Gentry-Killough in charge.
Obituary.
L. J. Tallant (sic) was born near Knoxville, Tennessee, June 21(sic),
1915; died September 12, 1927, age 12 years, 2 months, 21 days.  He was
the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Tallant of this city.  When one
months of age, he came, with his parents, to Erick, Oklahoma.  Later they
came to Elk City and at the time of his death was living here.
The deceased is survived by his father, mother, two sisters, Mrs. Oma
Piercy and Mrs. Viola Rlemous (Plemons), and one brother, Roscoe Tallant; also by a
host of friends.
