TAYLOR, PEARL ALICE
(25 Sep 1927, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. Pearl Alice Taylor was born in Hamilton County, Illinois, on July 15,
1887 and died at Kiowa, Oklahoma, on September 1, 1927.
She was married in 1912 to Mr. D. M. Taylor.  To this union was born two
children.  One having died in infancy.
She leaves to mourn her death a devoted husband and Mabian the 13 year old
daughter, a father, mother, two brothers, three sisters and many other
relatives and friends.
Early in life she obeyed the Gospel and lived a true christian life until
her death.
She is greatly missed and mourned by her loved ones but her life will be
held by them as a beautiful example to be followed, and her death only
finds them closer to Heaven where she is waiting to meet them some day.
All that kind hands and loving hearts could do was done but it seems that
her life's work was finished and her Saviour called her home.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. T. Vaughn at Taylor church. 
The remains were laid to rest in Ural cemetery on September 2nd, 1927.
