J. A. TAYLOR Mrs. J. A. Taylor died Sunday at the Tisdal Hospital after an illness caused by cancer of the stomach. Funeral services were held at the M. E. Church, South, in charge of Rev. Adams, the pastor. Interment was at Fairlawn cemetery. Lula Mae Anderson was born in Ben County, Arkansas, June 13, 1887. She was married to J. A. Taylor in 1905, and to this union were born eight children, one of them dying at the age of two years. The other seven, LaVerne, Irwin, Laveda, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Ora and Odell are all at their home near Elk City where they have lived for the past six years. Mrs. Taylor professed her faith in Christ at an early age and since then has lived the life of a true christian. The News Democrat joins the friends in extending sympathy to the bereaved husband, children and other relatives.
