TESMAR, ARTHUR WILLIAM
(23 Aug 1906, Thursday, Elk City Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Death.  The four year old son of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Tesmar.  He was
stricken with typhoid fever while on a visit to his grandparents at
Canute, where he died.  He was burried (sic) at the Elk cemetery
Wednesday.  The parents and relatives have the heart-felt sympathy of the
entire community.
(29 Aug 1906, Wednesday, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Arthur William Tesmar, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Texmar of this place,
died at the home of his grand-father, Charles Bird, at Canute, August 20,
1906, after a painful illness of eight days duration.  Arthur was born in
Elk City, December 10, 1902, and was 3 years, 9 months and 10 days old at
the time of his death.
The little body was brought to the family home from Canute, followed by a
large concourse of sympathetic friends from that place.  At the family
home a short funeral service was conducted by T. D. Penn, after which a
procession of friends of the sorrowing family followed the hearse to the
Catholic cemetery where the little coffin was gently laid, with its
precious contents to await the resurrection morning in peace.
A Card of Thanks
We wish in this manner to thank our kind friends for their assistance
during the illness of our son Arthur, at Canute.  Also for their dear
sympathy and kind assistance with those of Elk City at the funeral which
took place from our home here.  May God reward you.
