THOMAS, CECIL JANE
(27 Dec 1928, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Cecil Jane Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Thomas, was born at
Rona, New Mexico, August 15, 1919, and died at her home in Canute,
December 16, 1928, with diphtheria, age 9 years, 4 months and 1 day.  She
leaves to mourn a father and mother, two brothers, Sanford and Lawrence,
one sister Fern, and a number of relatives and friends.
A short funeral service was conducted by Rev. F. G. Johnson at the
cemetery southwest of Canute (Washita County), where she was laid to rest
to await resurrection.
