THROWER, ALICE TRESSIE
(Elk City Daily News, Elk City, Beckham, Ok Monday March 4, 1996)
Alice Brodrick Thrower.
Alice Tressie Brodrick Thrower was born May 25, 1905, in Carter to Parlee
(Haney) and Tom Brodrick and died March 3 in the Elk City Nursing Home at
the age of 90.
Alice married Lester D. Thrower on December 25, 1927 in Carter.  They
moved to Elk City in 1942 to make their home.  She was a member of First
Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Lester, On May
16, 1981.
Services will be at 3:30 pm Tuesday at the Whinery-Savage Chapel
officiated by Rev T.D. Gifford.  Interment will be in the Carter Cemetery
under the direction of Whinery-Savage Funeral Service.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews including Varynia Hodges,
Dianne Blau, Gary Ted Collins, Felicia Johnson, Ann Collins, Belva Rider,
Leon Broderick, Troy Broderick, Wayne Broderick and Donnie Dowlin, and a
host of other relatives and friends.
