TRENT, WAYNE ROBERT
(The Elk City Daily News, Elk City, Beckham Co, Ok, 22? March 1990)
Funeral services for Wayne Robert Trent, 72 of Enid, were held March 21 in
Enid.  He was born Nov. 29, 1917 in Hammon to L. D. and Lavina Trent.  He
died Sunday at his home.
In 1919 they moved to Enid, where he attended the Enid school system.  He
joined the Marine Corps in 1942 and participated in World War II in the
Pacific theatre.  He returned to Enid after the war and with his brother
co-owned and operated the Black and White Cab Co.  On March 12, 1951, he
married Faye Richardson of Enid.  He was a lifetime member of VFW. 
Surviving him are his wife, of the home; and a sister Mrs. Hugh Shirley of
Tulsa.
