VANDAGRIFF, GRACE
(8 Apr 1920, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF MRS. LOYD VANDAGRIFF
Mrs. Grace Vandagriff, wife of Loyd Vandergriff (sic) living ten miles
northeast of Elk City, died at the Music Hospital Friday night after a
short illness.
Funeral services were held at the home of her mother, Mrs. Huddleston, on
North Madison, at 2:30 p.m., April 3rd, conducted by Rev. Trevette.
Deceased leaves a husband four little children two to eight years of age,
mother, Mrs. Flora Huddleston and sisters, Mrs. Brewer and Clarence
McClendon, of Elk City, Mrs. John Benton, Okmulgee, three brothers,
Herman, Elk City; J. D. Huddleston of Shreveport, La.; Dick Huddleston,
California.
Grace Huddleston was born in Fanning (sic) county, Texas, June 29th, 1892;
moved to Oklahoma thirteen years ago.  Nine years ago was married to Loyd
Vandergriff.  She died April 2nd, 1920, and was twenty-eight years of age.
 She was a good wife, devoted mother and a kind and loving daughter.  She
will be sadly missed in the home.
