WACOB, GEORGE
(8 Feb 1917, Southwest News & Leader, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Chas. Wacob of this city received a message Wednesday announcing the death
of his father, George Wacob, which occurred Tuesday afternoon at five
o'clock at his home in Wichita, Kansas.  On account of conditions here Mr.
Wachob was unable to leave to attend the funeral services which will be
held there today.
Mr. Wachob was one of the real pioneers of Oklahoma, coming here with
Capt. Paine in 1879, but for some time he has been a resident of Wichita. 
He is survived by his widow and four children, Chas., of this city and
three daughters who live in Pittsburgh, Pa.
The message contained no particulars and the cause of his death is not
known.  The friends of Chas. Wacob will sympathize with him in his loss.
