WALKER, SARAH
(8 Dec 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
MRS. WALKER DIES AT DOXEY
Mrs. Sarah Walker, 87, mother of A. J. Walker, M. G. Walker and B. E.
Walker, all of Elk City, died this morning at the home of another son, W.
W. Walker, near Doxey.  Funeral arrangements are pending the arrival of a
daughter, Mrs. Roy Ray of Jennings.
Grubitz and Son is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Walker, better known as Grandma Walker
were held at Prairie View church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.  She was
one of the charter members of the church and had lived in this community
for several years however she had spent the last few years in the Merritt
community with her son, Bill Walker.
She was almost 84 (sic) years of age at the time of her death.  During the
last two years she had been paralized (sic).  She was dearly loved by
those who knew her.
