All rights reserved. http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/copyright.htm ************************************************ WEBB, NANNIE (19 Jul 1930, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK): Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Web (sic), wife of J. L. Webb, were held this afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Taylor community church, south of the city. Rev. Edd Taylor read the final rites. Mrs. Webb died Friday at the home of her son, Will Webb, with whom she and Mr. Webb made their home. Mrs. Webb has suffered exceedingly poor health for a number of years. Mrs. Webb was born in Tennessee, January 3, 1866, where she was reared, and later married to J. L. Webb. Mr. and Mrs. Webb have lived in Texas and Oklahoma for the past 20 years. Mrs. Webb is a member of the Church of Christ. Immediate members of the family surviving Mrs. Webb are her husband, J. L. Webb and seven children, three daughters and four sons. They are: Mrs. J. J. Parker, Palmer, Tex.; Mrs. Charles Sullens, Cordell; Mrs. Homer Hinkle, Canute; and J. F. Webb, Foss; W. R. Webb, Carter; Ernest Webb, Carter; and J. T. Webb, Elk City. Interment was made in the Ural cemetery.
