(10 Feb 1916, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF DAVE WELCH
Dave Welch, son of Mrs. Lina Welch, died at his home in Elk City on the
night of February 3rd.  He was buried in the Elk City cemetery on Friday,
February 4th, funeral services being conducted by Rev. T. J. Hickman at
the grave.
The deceased was 23 years old and has been sick for sometime with
tubercolosis (sic).  He leaves  widowed mother, four sisters and three
brothers who have the sympathy of our people.
