WELLS, ANDERSON
(22 Nov 1917, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF ANDERSON WELLS
Death visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Wells on Nov. 18 and claimed
as its victim, Anderson Wells, a son of eleven summers.
The little fellow had been sick for five weeks with typhoid fever, from
which he was recovering, but a week ago blood poison developed and medical
skill could not save him.
Anderson leaves a father, mother, four brothers and one sister and a host
of friends, who will miss the happy little face, the sunny smile and the
cheerful word that little Anderson always had for everyone.
Funeral services in charge of Grubitz & Son, were held at the residence at
2:30 P.M. Monday, conducted by Rev. Wolfe of Sayre.
The little form was laid to rest in East Fairlawn cemetery.
We join with their wide circle of friends in offering sympathy to the
bereaved parents.
