Wilson, passed to the great beyond Friday at 10 a.m. Rev. Elliott conducted the funeral services at 2:30 Saturday afternoon and interment was made in the Thompson cemetery (Custer County). Obituary. JOSEPH WELLS Joseph Wells was born in Bates county, Missouri, October 6, 1870, and died January 21, 1927, at the home of his sister, Mrs. G. Wilson, near Carpenter. He was married in 1892 to Blanche Hall. Six children were born. The wife and two children preceded him to the great beyond. He was converted at the age of twenty-six and united with the Methodist Church, later with the Baptist. The four surviving children are Mrs. Charles Reeding, Tibbetts, Mo.; Ira L. Wells, Casper, Wyo.; Mrs. Rauph Wagger, Tibbetts, Mo.; and Josephine Ellington, Butler, Mo. He was laid away at the Thompson cemetery with S. S.
