WHITE, ALPHA O.
(17 Jan 1924, Elk City Newspaper, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
DEATH OF LITTLE GIRL.
Omega White, the little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. White, living east
of Doxey, was taken ill a little over a week ago from appendicitis and
pneumonia.  She was brought to hospital and she lingered until Tuesday
noon when she passed away, after intense suffering.
The little body was prepared for burial by Grubitz & Son and body taken
Tuesday afternoon to her home, where funeral services were held on
Wednesday afternoon, with interment at Doxey-Sayre cemetery.  The little
girl would have been six years old the sixth of next May.  She was one of
twelve children, and the first to pass away.  All the children were home
except one daughter, who lives in Galveston, Texas.
Omega was of a happy nature, and a sweet singer, and was loved devotedly
by all the family and her many friends and will be sadly missed by
everyone.  Deepest sympathy is extended the bereaved ones.
