WHITED, ELLA
(16 Aug 1911, Elk City Record, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
Mrs. J. W. Whited died at Great Bend, Kansas, Saturday August 12, the body
was brought here Monday for burial accompanied by the husband and some
relatives.  Mrs. Whited was Miss Ella Gilmore who lived with her sister
Mrs. William Taylor near Hammon.
Three weeks ago she left here for Great Bend, Kansas in perfect health, to
join her husband who had secured work there, their home being near Hammon.
 A short time ago she was taken seriously ill with typhoid fever, which
was the cause of her death.
She leaves a babe three months old.  Funeral services were held Tuesday at
the home of R. Whited in this city.
