J. W. WICKSTRUM DEAD
In the last issue of the Modern Woodman paper we noted that among the
policies paid was that of J. W. Wickstrum of Texhoma, a former citizen of
the Grimes neighborhood.  After speaking to Ack Davis about it, he wrote
to them for information and he received a letter Monday morning from
Adrain Wickstrum stating his father died December 1st, 1923, after six
months of suffering from cancer of the stomach.  He added "he fought a
good fight but had to give up the ship."
Mr. Wickstrum was well known by the people of Grimes, having lived there
in the early day, also he lived a while in Sayre, and the many friends of
the family will regret to hear of his death.
