WILLIAMS, WILLIAM B.
(11 Jun 1914, Elk City News Democrat, Elk City, Beckham Co, OK):
WM. B. WILLIAMS DEAD
Wm. B. Williams, who has for years been a resident of this city died at
his home on west 5th street yesterday morning at 4:10 o'clock.
Mr. Williams was born at Lumpkin, Stewart county Georgia, April 21, 1831
and moved to Montague county, Texas in 1845.  He served in the Confederate
army.  He was at the time of his death more than 83 years old.  He leaves
wife, two daughters and four sons, two of the sons, Samuel and Amos live
in this city.
Funeral services will be held from the residence today and the body will
be taken on the afternoon train to Stoneberg, Texas, where the interment
will take place in the Oak Hill cemetery.
