Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, both located in Harrah. Arrangements directed by Asa Smith Funeral Service of Harrah. Vesta Mae Willis, was born January 31, 1908 in Pocaasette, to Samuel Winfield and Daisy E. Hill Dunlap and died in Elk City, Friday, March 8, 2002 at the age of 94. Vesta owned and operated the Willis Nursery in Elk City until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Theodore Roosevelt (Ted) Willis; daughter, Ura Mae Ferguson, grandson Timothy O'Reilly and seven sisters and three brothers. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Elk City. Survivors include one son, Theodore W. Willis and wife Carolyn of elk City; one daughter, Daisy E. O'Reilly and husband John of Palm Desert, California; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. The Elk City Daily News, Elk City, OK 11-Mar-2002
